The Steadfast Tin Soldier very closely to the original story by Hans Christian Andersen. One tin soldier with one leg is cruelly mocked by other toys because of his deformity. The soldier falls for a toy ballerina who is desired by the king of toys. The king exercises his military force to get the girl for you. The story ends tragically, with amazing graphics performance of a firing squad. This is probably too strange and violent for children. The same cartoon is very well animated,perhaps even more than the other story of Ub Iwerks. There are some famous cartoon toys, including a Groucho Marx, Jack-in-the-box.
